I wedged my phone on the dash of my 924S the other day, set off and started recording. At one point I drove through a densely wooded area and popped the headlights on. Thought it looked quite cool on the vid.

I would find the smallest of excuses to switch them on and watch them rise. As I'm sure you do. It's only natural. Also thanks for the mandatory five second "you're on the wrong side of the road!" scare, need to watch more UK videos.

Very cool! I've always loved pop-up headlights, I kinda think they should be on modern cars... but then you get into the whole reliability thing... what a shame! I mean just think about a Camry driving down the road, and all the sudden, the head lights pop up! So much cooler!

Question, Do these make good first cars?

Because I see them for pretty cheap, like this one and this one , but I fear they will be expensive to maintain..

I read this and now I want one.

Choose one that's been well maintained and it'll be cheap to run. Mine's done 8,000 miles in a year and cost me just £150 for a service.
